As the Founding Product at heva, you will be our first dedicated product hire, helping define the product vision, strategy, and execution of a fast-growing, AI-native company transforming cross-border healthcare. We're looking for a design-native product builder—someone with exceptional product taste, strong systems thinking, and a background in product design who has evolved into product strategy and leadership. This is a hands-on founding role. You'll work directly with the CEO, engineering, AI, and design teams to build products across provider operations, patient experiences, autonomous AI agents, and payments. You won't inherit an established product organization. You'll help build one from the ground up, shaping how we discover problems, make product decisions, design experiences, and ship. We want someone equally excited about building exceptional products today and building a world-class product team tomorrow.

What you'll do
- Partner with the CEO to define product strategy, roadmap, priorities, and high-conviction bets.
- Own product initiatives end-to-end, from customer discovery and prototyping to launch and iteration.
- Work directly with healthcare providers and patients to understand problems and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate hands-on with engineering, AI, and design to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences.
- Design AI-native workflows that increase autonomy, reduce manual operations, and consolidate fragmented tools.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into elegant, scalable product systems.
- Define product success metrics across activation, conversion, retention, automation, and business outcomes.
- Establish heva's product principles, discovery practices, and execution processes.
- Build and eventually lead the product organization, recruiting and developing product managers and designers as we scale.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of product experience, ideally beginning in product design and evolving into product strategy or leadership.
- Experience as a Product Designer, Design Lead, Product Manager, Founding PM, or similar role.
- Excited to be the first product hire at a fast-growing startup and build the product function from scratch.
- A builder before a manager, comfortable prototyping, making decisions, and shipping alongside engineers and designers.
- Exceptional product taste, UX intuition, and systems thinking.
- Proven experience taking products from ambiguous problems to shipped solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Experience with workflow-heavy SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, healthcare, or AI-native products.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, conversational UX, and automation.
- Strong customer discovery instincts, analytical judgment, and business acumen.
- Comfortable working with Figma, AI-assisted prototyping tools, and technical teams.
- High ownership, execution speed, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Ambition to grow into broader product leadership and build a world-class team.
- Healthcare or international market experience is a plus.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Fintech Experience is a plus
