Senior QA Engineer - INDIA
As a Senior QA Engineer at heva, you will own quality across the platform that powers our cross-border care, from web and mobile applications to backend services, payments, and the AI agents that interact directly with patients. You will work closely with the development team and other QA engineers to own test strategy, test automation, and release readiness. You will define what gets tested and where, build the automation that gates our releases, and give clear QA sign-off before anything ships. This role sits in a high-trust, regulated environment where patient data, financial transactions, and AI-driven conversations all need to work correctly. You will also coach engineers on writing testable code and designing strong tests.

What you'll do
- Own the test strategy, defining what is tested at the unit, API, integration, and end-to-end levels and where each check runs in CI.
- Build and maintain API and web end-to-end automation suites and run them in CI as release gates.
- Test iOS and Android applications across devices and OS versions, including release builds.
- Own release readiness by defining acceptance criteria, running risk-based regression and exploratory testing, and providing QA sign-off with clear blockers and remaining risks.
- Test authentication, role-based permissions, and data isolation across patients and practices.
- Maintain repeatable test data using synthetic or appropriately de-identified records.
- Build scenario and regression suites for patient-facing AI agents, covering multi-turn conversations, tool actions, factual accuracy, human handoffs, and unsafe responses.
- Verify the resulting system state after AI agent actions and maintain evaluation datasets with AI engineers.
- Test payment, refund, and payout flows for correctness, idempotency, partial failures, and concurrent requests.
- Test messaging, voice, and third-party webhook integrations, including retries, delays, duplicate and out-of-order events, and partial failures.

- Own the QA process, including ticket handoff and acceptance, and define testability criteria in the definition of done.
- Coach engineers on writing testable code and designing effective tests.
